Cardiac Science Powerheart AED (Automatic External Defibrillator)

The new Powerheart AED from Cardiac Science defibrillates pediatric* or adults.  The Powerheart weighs only 3.5 kg (including battery and electrodes) and has one-button operation.  The 24-hour self test mode tests system function, battery life, and electrodes.  Self test results are displayed visually and with audio alarm to alert of any problems.  Batteries have a 2-yr warranty and an expected life of 5 years.  * Requires pediatric electrodes.
