Hospital Equipment Refurbishing Process

In 1984 DRE refurbished the first of many Anesthesia Machines. Today we can take from years of experience and industry knowledge to bring our customers quality refurbished products that fit their needs.
Anesthesia Machine Refurbishing Steps:
- The unit is sanded, primed and new paint is applied.
- Stainless steel is polished.
- Wheels, castors and brakes are inspected and replaced, if necessary.
- Run performance maintenance tests and make necessary repairs and/or
adjustments, including replacing all parts prone to future failure.
- Chassis / housing is inspected and cleaned or replaced.
- The mount and fasteners are inspected and replaced, if necessary.
- AC plug and receptacles are replaced, if necessary.
- Cords are inspected and replaced, if needed.
- Tubes / hoses are replaced where applicable.
- Electrodes and transducers are inspected and replaced, if necessary.
- The battery is replaced.
- Motor / pump/ fan / compressor is inspected and replaced, if necessary.
- The display panels are inspected, cleaned, or replaced.
- The unit is recalibrated.
- All alarms and audible signals are tested to ensure all are in working order.
- The unit receives a new labeling.
