Hospital Equipment Refurbishing Process
Defibrillators
Refurbishing Steps:
- Chassis / Housing is inspected and cleaned or replaced.
- AC plug and receptacles are replaced, if necessary.
- Cords are inspected and replaced, if necessary.
- Circuit breaker and fuses are replaced, if necessary.
- Fittings are inspected and cleaned or replaced.
- The battery is replaced.
- The display panels are inspected and cleaned, or replaced.
- The unit is recalibrated.
- All alarms and audible signals are tested to ensure all are in working order.
- The unit receives new labeling.
- New ECG cables, leads and clips are included.
- If the unit has a printer, the printer is inspected and repaired, if necessary.
- A roll of printer paper is included, if applicable.
