HP / Hewlett Packard brand medical equipment became part of the segment of non-computing related businesses that HP spun off and became Agilent Technologies in 1999.
In 2001 HP healthcare and medical product brands were acquired by Philips Medical Systems. Some of the orginal HP brand products were still under development many years later.
Philips has continued to grow its lines of medical equipment to form one of the largest most diversified names in Healthcare.
