Get the Latest Software Upgrades For Your Waveline Vital Signs Monitors With No Equipment Down Time

The upgrades to the DRE Waveline Touch monitors are designed to enhance the monitor’s already substantial ease-of-use considerations and include a few key technological advancements.

Updating equipment is necessary in the medical field. It helps medical professionals stay in sync with rapidly changing standards of care by improving interfaces and device capabilities, but often the process of upgrading can involve several time consuming steps.

Many software upgrades involve sending off equipment, or scheduling time for biomedical engineers to service the device — all of which take from valuable time and resources.

At DRE, we know your time is valuable. That’s why we’re rolling out Waveline Touch Patient Monitor upgrades that can be done in-house on the new 2014 models, eliminating the need for outsourcing to biomedical engineers and dealing with equipment down time.

The upgrades to the DRE Waveline Touch monitors are designed to enhance the monitor’s already substantial ease-of-use considerations and include a few key technological advancements.

With the updates, DRE Waveline owners will have access to a new, more intuitive menu. The changes will allow users to navigate the Waveline’s menu options more quickly, giving them more time to spend on their patients.

The new menu functions also allow for up to six different screen configurations, so anesthesiologists and other technicians can set up the Waveline to best suit their individual workflows.

Some of the technological upgrades include the DRE Waveline’s potential to display up to 12 simultaneous waveforms on the screen when using the newly available 12-Lead ECG option.

The Waveline also stores electronic medical records by using the HL7 protocol and features an upgraded VGA output.

All of these updates to the Waveline can be done with almost no down time or outsourcing to biomedical engineers, saving money and time for the end user.

Jim Evans, the national sales manager for DRE’s Medical Supplies Division, said the newly updated Waveline is just one patient monitor option available from an entire series of vital signs monitors.

“At DRE, we have a diverse line of patient monitors designed to suit varying workflows,” Evans said. “Our goal as industry leaders is to help practices find the best-suited equipment for the best price, so they can focus on the most important thing — helping patients.”

DRE customers benefit from our extensive knowledge and understanding of the importance of providing a product that is tailored to their individual needs.
