Oakworks has released a new and improved Spine Positioning System, the SPS II. The SPS II has all of the great features of the original SPS with improvements to meet the needs of the market segment. Oakworks will discontinue sales of the SPS on May 1, 2013.

Medical facilities will get relief on capital equipment purchases in 2012 and 2013. It was previously reported that large decreases in deduction limits and depreciation percentages would take place this year. However, H.R. 8: The American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 (the Fiscal Crisis Bill) is now extending these limits.

Now, medical professionals and donors can select devices from the Kenya Relief brochure to donate and it will arrive in Kenya shortly after Christmas for use by American teams working alongside Kenyan healthcare providers at Kenya Relief’s surgery center and the new Kenya Relief Medical Center being constructed in 2013.
