Unit may be transported up or down an incline up to 15 degrees without tipping.
Use flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tubing or other medical grade tubing that is approximately indicated by tubing manufacturer for use in roller pumps. Select the tubing according to the additional specifications:
Use only medical grade gases (e.g. compressed air, 95% oxygen and 5% CO2, 100% CO2 and 100% oxygen) at inlet pressures of 50 psi ± 10 psi (345 kPa ± 69 kPa).
YSI (Yellow Springs Instrument) 400 series temperature probes or an equivalent probe so indicated by the manufacturer. Sarn™ Pressure Transducers are specified because they have a detection range of -50 to 999 mmHg; they may be used with any dome, which is compatible with the Spectramed P23XL. If equivalent pressure probes are used and the pressure peaks exceed the probe detention meet AAMI standards for physiologic pressure probes and will require an adapter cable.
